From Nashville back to Denver we noticed the clutch making a strange when depressed sound after driving it a while. While in Atlanta we tried to get it serviced, but they wanted to keep it a couple of days. Unacceptable. Although it was an unending torment to both MT and I we babied the car until we got back to Denver. Even though the clutch was having problems, the car did something more sinister to damage our trip.

The day we left Atlanta the stereo went out. Nothing worse could happen. This was the one thing that was keeping us from fighting. Then we realized something far worse. We couldn't play our theme songs from Orbital, "The Saint" and "The Sinner".

This was the low point of the trip, leaving Atlanta, which we had grown to love and no stereo.

Somewhere in the US.
Be rest assured there was something wrong with MT's car. All road trips have something go wrong.
